This is such a gorgeous dress. I love what you did with the shoulders. I wasn't sure about this pattern (because I have so so many dress patterns already), but the more versions I see made up, the more tempted I am!!!

It's pretty heavy stuff - I don't know the name of it because I found it at an op shop - its probably about 1mm thick. If you dont have anything that heavy, then just layer up the thinner stuff. You only need a little bit of extra body and even less if your fashion fabric is heavier :-)

Perfect timing on this tutorial. I was just thinking of making a belt myself. So easy. How "heavy" is the interfacing you use?

I love the look of lighter pencils on darker paper :) Gosh, this makes me want to go back to drawing.

What a nice surprise, to get to go to a High Tea! I say that posting those sleeve pics (so that I can try hacking something similar!) counts as paying it forward!
